Gifts from the Rising Women Retreat

Last weekend at Casa Om, overlooking the Potomac River, we gathered for our second annual Rising Women Retreat. Between yoga sessions, sound baths, Breathwork circles, and Cacao ceremonies, something profound emerged—a medicine more powerful than any scheduled activity: authentic connection.

In our post-retreat feedback, one message came through clearly: deep gratitude for the experience of being in community. Women in different life chapters found common ground through vulnerability and presence. Despite diverse journeys—some navigating grief, others embracing renewal—genuine community became our greatest healing resource.

While a weekend retreat isn't accessible to everyone, the essence of what made our time together transformative can be. That's why I'm sharing these treasures from our retreat—journal prompts that sparked reflection, grounding affirmations, a poem read at the end of a gathering, and resources to continue your journey.

I invite you to create your own mini-retreat space at home. Find a quiet moment, take a deep breath, and allow these offerings to guide you back to your center.

In the stillness what do we find?

Sometimes answers. Sometimes nothing.

All is welcome in the stillness.

We may go looking for clarity or peace. But all it may offer us is a place to empty our minds.

All is welcome in the stillness.
